- I should add to my previous comments regarding Cobbweb. Cobbweb should *help* you
- to get many of your items installed, but not necessarily completely configured.
- Just to re-iterate Holger's comments, read the docs for the components of what you plan
- to install. I used Cobbweb which got most things in the right place. From there
- I still had to do lots of configuring. And, I too, needed assistance from
- some of the various programs' authors, such as Holger ( thanks, Holger :) ).
- The installer kits, I found, kind of act as a "here is where most of your stuff
- should go", which doesn't necessarily mean that your programs will work right
- "out of the box". (Wouldn't it be nice if they would?). I will say, that
- Cobbweb helped me most in getting the Amitcp 4.0 Demo program running properly.
- PPP I had to tweak (mainly to put together a dialscript).
